I am sure all of you out there in cyberspace surfing the interweb are well aware that today, March 26th, is the one year birthday of www.starwarsbookreport.com.  I know you have already eaten cake and blew out candles in honor of the site.  I know I have.  I just wanted to take a moment and be a little nostalgic and give big thanks all around.

This, I cannot think of a better word for it, this all started because my wife and I moved.  We moved to North Georgia, and I moved away from all of my Star Wars and Sci-Fi friends.  There are four things in this world I love to talk about: God, Cooking, Sports, and Star Wars.  Well, I am a Youth Pastor, so that takes care of God and cooking because I talk a lot of God with my teenagers, and I talk a lot of cooking with the ladies of our congregation.  I also have developed new friends in this area where I talk a lot of sports, so that left one big hole that I needed to be filled, which was Star Wars and Sci-Fi.  After discussing things with my good buddy Steve Glosson, he encouraged me to start this venture, and even was kind enough to allow me to use his site www.geekoutonline.com as a platform to help me get off the ground…if we are indeed off the ground yet.
